Mumbai: Some days back we heard a lot about ’s doing a mujra song for Saif Ali Khan’s film ’ and the latest is that she is all set to do not one but two item songs for the upcoming Madhur Bhandarkar’s movie ’. Kareena Kapoor plays the main lead in the film. Earlier i was the main leading lady of the movie but due to her pregnancy, she left the project which then ultimately was pocketed by Kareena Kapoor. The reports suggest that some changes on the script were made considering Kareena in the lead.
Madhur himself reveals that Kareena is doing two item numbers in the movie. One of the item songs goes like ‘Halkat Jawani’. Bhandarkar is sure that the whole nation will dance to the beats of this song and the number has potential to emerge as a chartbuster. The film talks about the life of an actress but Madhur tells that the movie also pours light on the matter of manipulation in the casting and editing stages. Madhur is the director and the co-producer of the flick. UTV Motion Pictures and Madhur Bhandarkar produce this venture.
Madhur adds that both Kareena Kapoor and ’s on screen chemistry is fabulous and both are quite comfortable with each other. The steamy and intimate bed scene between the two was shot marvelously and they both gave a brilliant shot. Madhur tells that they have previously worked with each other, which was why there was no issue at all working in his movie. Initially Kareena was hesitant doing the bed scene with Arjun, as she had clearly uttered to all the filmmakers that she could do the steamy scenes only with beau Saif Ali Khan, but later Madhur made her accept it. The scene was shot at a five star hotel’s room where only four crew members were allowed to shoot it.
