Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor’s two upcoming films – Agent Vinod and Heroine have been creating bigger buzz for the actress making her extra popular among the audiences and adding more sparkles to her already big stardom. Agent Vinod is ready and the promotional activities are going on. In this film, Kareena plays the main lead opposite her beau Saif Ali Khan who is also the co-producer of the movie. The film is slated for release on March 23rd. Heroine’s shooting is going on. First spell of the shooting was taken place in November last year and now the second spell of the filming has started off earlier today.The film has started making buzz for Kareena Kapoor’s two item songs specially injected in the movie for the actress and to lure her fans. Obviously the apparent reason behind the items songs is the promotional works for the film. Besides item songs are adding popularity among the masses for the films, this is another reason as well.
The one song, ‘Halkat Jawani’ is on way to create the big noise for the actress. The song is scored by Salim-Sulaiman. The word Halkat is not a Hindi or Marthi word rather it is a slang which is used in Mumbaiya language. Its meaning in English is Nasty or Mischievous. In this item song, Kareena Kapoor has danced in folk style – this is the style which is quite common nowadays in Bollywood scene. Katrina Kaif has done it in her song ‘Chikini Chameli’ in Agneepath and Vidya Balan dolled up in the upcoming ‘Ferrai Ki Sawaari’.
Madhur Bhandarkar had initially signed Aishwaraya Rai for the leading role and even made the official announcement at Cannes Film Festival. But he learnt about Aishwaraya’s pregnancy news when Amitabh Bachchan announced on Twitter.
